PROVIDES A SELECTABLE TIME INTERVAL BETWEEN DEFROST CYCLES. IT WILL ALLOW A 10-MINUTE DEFROST EVERY 50/70/90 MINUTES AS LONG AS DFT IS CLOSED ON THE SEN TERMINAL. A HOLD INPUT ALLOWS THE TIMER TO ACCUMULATE TIME WHILE THE COMPRESSOR IS RUNNING. WARM COIL CAUSES THE DFT TO OPEN, WHICH WILL PREVENT TIME ACCUMULTION OR END THE DEFROST PERIOD. WHEN THE DEFROST PERIOD ENDS, EITHER BY OPENING THE DFT OR AFTER THE 10-MINUTE DEFROST PERIOD HAS ELAPSED, THE TIME IS RESET. THERE WILL BE A 10-SECOND DELAY IN WHICH THE COMPRESSOR WILL TURN OFF WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING A DEFROST CYCLE. THIS WILL PREVENT THE NUISANCE NOISE CREATED WHEN THE REVERSING VALVE TRANSFERS. A PIN-SELECTABLE 0 OR 3 MINUTE ANTI-SHORT CYCLE DELAY PREVENTS SHORT CYCLING OF THE COMPRESSOR.
